An Everyday Occurance

How have we let this become a trend? We are more than the false words you mesh togetherand throw a beat over. We inhale wisdom and exhale greatness. Realize that. The only replay that I should be hearing on the radio is R-E-S-P-E-C-Tsomething a lot of us have forgotten about in times like this. You also may have forgotten the numerous times you enjoyedridiculing us while we attempted to embrace an insecurity that we've long had.You may not even know how difficult it is for us to go outside aloneor wear some super cute pants that we just bought without being hollered at,perhaps even do those things together. The music world that you have subscribed to has solely focused onnormalizing the objectification of our entire being. So much that you think it's ok to say whatever as wellAnd when you do manage to approach us,you don't even understand our thought process. It's almost like, what is a very nice, yet blunt way of saying"Get the heck out of my face.", without being too harsh.
