Everyone
Everyone has feelings,
Deapite their wicked ways,
Despite their virtuous ways.
Everyone has feelings.
A jagged critique, a dark opinion,
Hurts more than a blade to the heart.
But others disagree-
They contend they deserve it,
They contend they shouldn't feel the harrow's teeth.
They chant such bitterness,
Turnings against one another.
But everyone has a heart:
Every boy and girl,
Every animal and breath.
Can we humans be worse than animals?
