Everyone is "equal"

it comes as a great shock...to discover that the flag to which you have pledged allegiance...has not allegiance to you
-James Baldwin

so why is that we pled to a nation that don't doesn't care?

it has never been loyal or has have never cared about what has happens to colored people

back then when the constitution was being created
they sat around and fussed about what it was going to contain

but with no hesitation without looking for an argument nor taking a vote

they didn't recommend black people in that line that so calls say "everyone is equal"

because to them we weren't equal we weren't even thought as humans

just a tool that was ment to be pushed around and brought like an animal

and remember that other line "freedom and justice for all" they didn't care if we had freedom or justice

even when they wrote that line it wasn't ment for blacks but they fooled us into believing it was

so the question still remains,
why do we pled our souls and hearts to a nation that could care less about our health, lifestyle, education, and wellbeing?

because that is the way that they believe is right..
