Everyone Needs To Wake Up

Everyone needs to wake up We just need to realize That tragedy and terror Is taking place right before our eyes Nothing but sad and dark moments Many are in a state of disbelief Many people have lost their lives Painful hearts continue to grieve

This is my description of myself and my poetry. My name is Brooklyn Six aka The Brooklyn Six Project. I was born on Monday, August 26th 1974 in New York City. I graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in June 1992. I served in the United States Navy for nine years. While in the Navy I have lived in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland Or, and Seattle. I currently live in Lynnwood, Washington about twenty miles north of downtown Seattle. Poetry is my written medication whenever I feel stressed about something. All of my poems are about life, love, happiness, sadness, triumph, and tragedy. Hopefully, i will be able to captivate others with my poetry. Take care everyone.
