From Everything
Much brings light to my everyday.
If anything, everything gets my heart’s tune to play.
That tune comes from sounds and sights alike,
It could be a rhythmic beat of drums or a simple infrequent tap,
A pencil bouncing, bringing about thoughts in my head,
Or the silent moment as I lay in my bed.
An assortment of sounds, even if it’s a mishap,
For not only things choreographed can cause my feelings to spike.
The sights, oh the sights, that highlight my day,
The colors so vibrant, even the dullest shades get my tune’s flutes to play.
The leaves rustling, shimmering, dancing with my mind in the light,
Oh, I can’t begin to describe all the beautiful sights.
Yet the movements, the casual daily dances, of people all around
Also bring’s with it unshakable, stirring feelings.
As a person moves and walks with grace down a hall,
Or shuffles with a gait so unlike other’s strolls.
Each movement has a purpose, unspoken roles.
The movements of hands, or stillness for all,
And the face, oh the face, oh so appealing,
So beautiful no matter whether it’s a smile or a frown.
Not many things can ever bring me down,
For everything is where inspiration can be found.
