Everything and Nothing
The thing I cannot live without is me.
If I had to choose one thing that is my only plea.
I hold all my thoughts, goals and dreams;
So long as I have myself all these things can continue to stream.
I might not be able to keep those that I love close,
But I wouldn’t want to impose
And bring them with me wherever I go
Instead I’ll let them flow inside me and they continue to live.
To many, this might seem selfish,
But it could also seem selfless.
Because if I ever had to choose where I who or what to take with me
They would not be able to be free.
But it's okay,
I'll still be alone,
but I will forever have you all
and that is something that will be inside me
Something wrong with this poem?
