Everything is Awesome?

You hear it all the time.

Write a poem, let it out.

"Doesn't have to rhyme!",

this is common that they shout.

But no one really believes

that this is going to work.

This helps the soul relieve 

the dark thoughts that lurk. 

From experience, I'll tell you.

Its oh so tough

to let yourself agree to

poetry, it's rough.

But once you go and write it,

once its on a page.

The mind makes itself sit

and read your evident rage.

Awesome? Yeah it is.

That I can let pain go

in a simple little biz

of writing what I know.
