Everything is Awesome

Watching fireworks up in the sky,
drinking coffee on a Saturday,
hearing stories from my grandpa's friend, Mr. Fry,
kneeling by my bed to think and pray,
my favorite song and the windows down,
my baby cousin's voice and precious smile,
going on vacation to a new town,
my favorite tshirt that never goes out of style,
getting ice cream with my friends late at night,
writing poems up in my room,
the very first sip of a can of sprite,
beautiful flowers that are in bloom,
all these things make life so rad,
and help me to forget,
bad things that make me feel sad,
I do not have to fret.
These little things are what I love and never fail to come,
for these things make me realize that life is truly awesome.
