Everything is Awesome (Except Your Eating Disorder)

Life is pretty great when you can look up at the sky

And think of dinner without wanting to cry.

I didn't have fun being fed by a nurse

Or enjoy the times I worried about ending up in a hearse.

Being skin and bones isn't all it's cracked up to be;

What was way more awesome was when I learned to love me.

My weight is restored and I'm back in school-

I never thought that it would feel so cool!

Anorexia felt like a never-ending war,

But now I love my body and I hope you love yours.

Life is awesome when you finally eat

and can declare your eating disorder finally beat.
