Everything is Awesome Scholarship Slam

Everything is awesome, if you'll look, you'll see

Just how beautiful the world can be.

The blue in the sky and the green on the ground

The leaves in the air and the birds how they sound.

And when the leaves fall and the earth shivers with cold

A new kind of awesome begins to unfold.

Everything is awesome, and the future is bright

Pancakes for dinner, and kisses goodnight.

The way you say I love you, and the smile that follows

With crooked teeth and a dimple in your left cheek

There is no reason to sit and wallow.

Because everything is awesome,  no matter how small

Little hands that grab your finger and giggle with no care at all.

Tight hugs and coffee shops

Reading, lauging, and old hip hop.

The way you look while reading a good book

Warm clothes fresh out of the dryer, good friends around a campfire

So smile today and tomorrow too

Because everything is awesome, including you.
