"Everything is fine"

Those words “everything is fine”,

I ask myself “is it really”?

All I ever did was stare into your eyes,

too blind to see what i really had in front of me.

Having the time of my life,

with you right beside me.

Yet all I ever thought about was how much I loved you.

With time our friendship evolved,

as well as our brains with all those beautiful memories.

We as humans can simply remember so much,

there’s no reason to miss out what the future has in store.

Walking with you every single day,

from holding the delicacy of your hand,

to feeling the warm sensation between us.

I said to myself “ why all of a sudden”?

Nothing was quite clear at that moment.

Nothing made sense as to why i felt this way.

Without a minute to grasp the moment,

I gave in...

I gently passed my hand on your face,

the words between us exchanged “i love you...”.

The blood boiling inside didn’t stay still,

rushing throughout my body I knew I had met the one.

The person i wanted to be with.

As time flew by without us noticing anything,

not a word was spoken between us.

I began to ask her “what’s going on”?

All I was given as a response was “everything is fine”.
