everything innocent comes to trial
Every bluebird becomes a black one
Every smile becomes a tear
Every sunrise becomes a nightfall
Every 'grand' becomes a 'mere'
Every kiss becomes a fist
Every smooth edge becomes a jagged one
And every right becomes a wrong
Every little girl's voice becomes an echo
And every innocent thing in life becomes a dimly ragged one
Because everything innocent in this life
Comes to trial.
