Everything for Nothing...?
An indecisive drop of sweat
drips down from your worried face.
In the gateways to your soul
I can see the disgrace.
A feeling, a fear, a phantom in tears.
A sensation that gives the heart an ache.
Shall not you worry my beloved twin flame,
because this love will never go away.
You sing and I reply,
with words that testify,
the willing power to love, understand, and grow.
And most beautifully... fly.
So with love in my eyes, and kindness in my words I ask you:
Why would I leave everything, for nothing, for just a night?
Just a night, where the flight is with fright,
because deep down in my demise I realize:
How could I be so blind?
So blind to not see, that you are all I need.
And as a smile on my face, wipes your tears away,
I let you know that it will be all okay.
With hopes and dreams we will go forth.
And never trading everything for nothing,
holding hands, old, on our porch.
