Everything For Nothing
Unrequited love is a curse.
When you love someone with all of your heart,
Knowing that they will never reciprocate your feelings.
When you would give the world for them
When you're happy if they're happy
When they're always on you're mind
When you love them so much it hurts.
Knowing that they'll never be satisfied
Knowing that you aren't their source of happiness
Knowing that they're thinking of someone else
Knowing that someone else has their heart.
And the worst part about onesided love is everything.
The false hope from fantasies
The wasted time and effort
The feelings of abandonment and rejection
The sacrifice of Everything
The receiving of Nothing
It's the heartache with no cure.
It is unhealthy love.
Which is why I truly believe,
That healthy love is equal.
Because if you love me, I love you.
