Everything that's gone

The birds sing out loud

They are very green

I clutch my book

And I bite my lip

My elbow hurts

I don’t feel proud

My room is dark

Same as my fears

There is no moon

To brighten it

The thing I clutched

I tore the page

My soul is lost

My heart has drowned

In a pool of hell

I’ve never tried

It plays hide-and-seek

The bees sting me

The floods are at rise

The statues will dance

Although you won’t see

And I ruined lives

So you won’t see me
