Everything Will Be Okay
Oh love, how I wish I could express
The way you have helped me survive.
When I hurt and bled you never left;
You just got closer, wiped my tears, and whispered
"Everything will be okay."
I have watched you break and it broke me more
You can't see your worth, but to me you're irreplacable.
You gave me your heart to guard and protect.
So when everything collapses I'm hear to whisper
"Everything will be okay."
When the hurt got bad and you wanted a knife
I nearly cried; don't destroy a diamond.
When I was drowning you helped me swim.
Even when it doesn't seem like it, you always remind me
Everything will be okay.
We have had our ups and we have had our downs
But you're still right here by my side.
I pray you never leave me, the hurt would be too great.
Who knows what would happen when no one remains to keep me safe.
Would everything be okay?
