Everywhere

Struggling families, A dilapidated blanket warms the children, A bleak fire burns near, This is their life, sorrow everywhere. Charcoal shined shoes, Diamond-studded cufflinks, A large fire burns near, This is their life, wealth everywhere. A five minute stroll from the bank to the slums, Each step equals a difference, Fires become colder and colder, This is inequality, everywhere.
