Evil
I’m I a wretched one?
One bereft of heart or soul?
To wish to go to battle, never letting go.
To spill the life blood of fellow man,
Does that really make me all that bad?
To carve my name out of stone,
While you play in the sand.
History will forget about you; that is really quite sad.
Yet you just sit there and call me evil names.
Saying your doing it for your faith.
I just smile and laugh, even give you an evil wink, perhaps.
You think your so much better so good so pure.
If I’m so evil why don’t you try to stop me?
Or are just some nobody that doesn’t care,
Just trying to aggrandize so that others will like you more.
Or are you evil like me and just scared to follow the path?
Nevertheless it is not my place to judge; that is for the gods.
There you go casting some more stones lest someone finds the rottenness in you.
Or do you believe you are a god?
If you do, I can show you your mistake.
All mortals grow up just to die,
I’ve made my peace with death long ago if you want I can send you to him.
All you have to do is challenge me.
