evil girls

Cruella De Vil

a true devil herself.

But, the cruel belle

is the one who chews her food

and spits it out into the trash

Or maybe it’s the whole clan—

we feed on each other

because we have nothing else that we can eat

praise me praise

raise me

higher

higher

but we’re only going lower

slender snakes

they shed their skin much too often

and the ones behind,

now try to fit

themselves in the skin left behind

they still slither their way onto our mirrors

a reflective virus

We have tried to dismantle, to cure

but still standing,

their clones with our clothes,

white and plastic
