Deeper insight into shallow matters ... Oh ! How quick we are to praise

as we in admiration gather ... to pay homage to the "bright" of day.

We elevate and honor greatly ... as definition turned into action.

Heroes needed very quickly ... although results just show a fraction.

Of all that, they could have done ... if they had only searched for truth

but now they are too far along ... and wind up happy though without a clue.

As carefully they maneuver ... to feed mankind with their chosen deceit

while their hearts are closed by louvers with enlightenment not perceived

Little hope for them indeed ... as they only seek men's adoration.

to feed their appetite and need ... to magnify their own degradation.
