Evolution of Flora
The dirt holds a seed awaiting sunlight.
It envelops the bud from blooming free.
It holds it from stretching to a new height,
Yet does not notice that this is the key.
The key to future growth and happiness.
The dream of rising tall and strong one day,
Yet holding on to its sweet innocence,
Always bending in its very own way.
It has to realize that this occurs!
That flowers need to grow to reach the beam
And show their beauty with their true colors,
Unwinding of the petals for the dream.
The image of emerging through green grass
And always waiting for the drought to pass.
