It sometimes slows us down or to keep pride from forming?

It seems that we get carried away by our own “importance”

The self in our “old” nature loves admiration and recognition

As even in our dreams, we transform into some leadership appointed

In a multitude of thought, self-will cries out “it is a truly a hidden vision"

In the confusion of recognition, the self will proclaim it’s a gift of importance

Maybe many now are getting sick because of your self-love insistence

And many more, than we are ready to admit, hunger to be more significant

Self-centeredness the culprit as the whole world turns around self

In some cases, however, it may be very profitable for your position

To take care of yourself for the welfare of your chosen outer-shell

So others can see the futility of priorities that molded your condition
