Exclamation Marks

Abstraction is so difficult.

Engrained in my brain is the virtue of specificity.

Specific poems are the best because somehow the more you let your heart bleed out with deeply personal details the more your audience eats it up and appreciates your bravery.

Abstraction is more removed, inevitably since with specifics we 
write about our humanity- 

It is inherently beautiful somehow.

It takes more to make something vague and uncatchable beautiful- 

It takes a masterful artist, which I am not.
Not yet.

Someday, sweetheart, I will write the cosmos for you.
