Exclusive Lovers

You look at me and smile

Dear can I stay awhile

I look into your eyes

I see you care and I can see your lies

We stand face to face

You don't know what to say

That’s when I exclaim

I'm not mad, I'm finally seeing

No disagreeing, Babe It is so freeing

You spin a story to delay

Than finally say

Exclusive lovers we are not

I repeat in shock

Exclusive lovers you said were not
But you had my heart on lock
Sure, our love doesn't fit neatly in a box
But when I say I want to leave you, you tell me i'm not

When I say I won't endure this any longer
You try to hold and grip me stronger
You suggest we be good friends
than you're surprised when it all ends

You took all I gave for granted
Everything you said was a little slanted
you thought if you kept me desiring you
I would miss what was transpiring, boo
Now you sit back inquiring, dude

Exclusive lovers you said were not
But you had my heart on lock
Sure, our love doesn't fit neatly in a box
Now I want to leave you, you try to stop

In the end it's you who will lose
While you play games, I find my groove,
with my new boo
Now it's time for you to be screwed
This may seem rude, even a little crude,
but after all that ensued
It's now your turn to lose
I'm amuse,  you're confuse, now let's review

Exclusive lovers you said were not
But you had my heart on lock
Sure, our love doesn't fit neatly in a box
And now that I’m leaving you, you're shock
