An Excuse

I loved you

I think i might still love you

but you don't want me,

in any way.

You gave me an excuse

for this horrible action,

as if this excuse would make

the feeling of you ripping

my heart out of my chest okay.

I might say

"I'm fine" or

"I'm okay"

but i'm neither of those.

You gave me this feeling

of freedom.

But after you left

I seemed to have no feeling at all
