Executive Decision

Putting a pencil to the page

Or in my case a finger to the keyboard

It can make all the difference

Full paragraphs

Or short stanzas

It’s always been my outlet

I try to use it to the best of my ability

But I fear I’m not quite good enough

That’s why I write

And write

And write

So i may also get rid of these thoughts

But please,

I’m not here for you, or your friend.

I’m here for me, to help myself.

So don’t get it twisted that you may change who I am

Or change what or how I think

Because only I have the right, and the power to do that
