Exemplary Love

Because I love you, let’s spare the drama

Don’t sleep on the couch or keep the score for karma

If we fight, let’s communicate

Tell me what I do that you love and don’t spare me that what you hate

Express your feelings, please don’t bottle them

If we don’t share our feelings, there’s no evolving them

True love makes you, it does not break you

So let’s be an example of love that’s true

Don’t worry dove, never second guess yourself

And I’ll show exemplary love to you

We trust each other, trust is key

I believe you, in you, and you have faith in me

Because I love you, I respect you

My goal is to grow with you, not to wreck you
