To Exercise or To Be Lazy

The question is: to exercise or be lazy? Do I

Stay home and enjoy relaxation or put in work?

In order to get better it takes dedication

And hard work. I enjoy watching Netflix and eating

Fatty foods on my couch, but the love for volleyball

Is much more. It is overpowering and encourages me

To get up and train. Though the chips, cookies, and ice cream

Are calling my name. The rusty weights call my soul.

They motivate me to be better. To exercise.

They lure me in and change me. To exercise.

I am healthy and in shape. I can feel my body change.

I become ambitious. I train as hard as I can

And take away the slowness. Then as I continue

My routine I become faster, stronger and more

Powerful. Ready to accelerate in my dream.

So the question is to exercise or be lazy?

The answer is to exercise.
