Exhortation in Rhyme
She gasps for air
With bloodred eyes
A calm glare her only disguise
Hiding behind
A mask of hate
Hitting rewind
And closing the gate
Oh broken girl
Reach out and see
Love unfurled
Beyond your dreams
Look past your mind
Sleep well tonight
Have faith be blind
To all but light
