Exhume

The guns ring one last shot

and the hunger begins to stop.

Rain clouds clear

for the sun to appear.

Blood filled rivers disappear

and fill with tears.

Cleansing the world from a plague

that killed sanity.

Love has revived

and hate has died.

Peace has exhumed.
