Exist
I just want to exist.
Just to exist in this moment.
This moment of beauty.
A beauty that is both simple and complex.
The simplicity that is just a lake, with sand and rocks and grass and people.
But the complexity that is the life within the lake and the footprints in the sand and the creatures under the rocks and the flowers in the grass and the thoughts of the people.
Just to think about all of this.
What has this lake seen?
Heard?
Felt?
And what does it feel like to lap the rocks in front of my feet with its tongues of waves?
I do not know the answer to any of these questions.
All I know is that I want to exist to witness them.
