Existence

Existence

If I could choose to go anywhere in the world

I could only think of one paradise

One Where I am forever with you,

Denying that I am non-existent

In your eyes I am for real

Just a bedtime story every night

But when I close my eyes to sleep

Where am I in this nightmare we call reality?

Just like a painting that has no picture

Or meaning… Or purpose, I am…

When I look for the answer

To this unescaping reality

I find myself

Being brought into your warmth, so tender!

If I could find the strength

To call upon your embrace

Would your love stand by my side?

Watching me grow stronger from this point on?

Counting the moments where our fingers can finally reach

Together in the days in which we exist…
