An Existential Crisis
Life, Life, Life
What does it really mean to live?
To take what you can, or always to give?
To hold in grudges or love and forgive?
Living in this world, but why are we here?
For some, the purpose seems bright and clear
For others, not as obvious as it may appear
But we all live together within the same sphere
People always ask about the meaning of life
But we’re living right here to give meaning to life
Through our purpose we give life its worth
Each with their own story, starting at birth
We are here to our lives chapter by chapter
Though time only seems to get faster and faster
To live in the moment for as long as we can,
For life only ends faster than it began
We live to explore, and define oneself
We are our own individuals, no one else
If we truly believe in what we can do
We can achieve any dream we want to pursue
We are finally here to find our happiness
To overcome life’s hard times and nastiness
Living together to make a positive change
And that’s how we get our joy in exchange
Life at the end is what we believe
What we want to dream or want to achieve
Don’t waste it looking back and trying to grieve
After all, time is your only true thief
