The Existential Embodiment of Pixar

Watching the movie Inside Out,

I see Sadness

So blue, meek, unable to walk

Who would guess she's the hero?

This tiny emotion with the power

to turn memories into the shades of sky

and save the day

From the minute I opened my mouth,

everyone told me

-Blue is bad

-Blue ain't getting you anywhere

-Why do you have to be so sad?

Because I am breathing

I'm screamin', I'm singin', I'm runnin', I'm

alive

And I'm sorry I need to go to D.C.

to prove my feelings are

justified

To be sad

To be human

To be one and the same

If I am without sadness

I am without me
