Expectation

Long ago, I was the embodiment of expectation.

For this life, there was no registration.

Fated to be my family's creation.

Destined for only education.

No chance to bloom an imagination.

Only memorizing the tables of multiplication

As well as the capitals of states within the nation.

But then I came to a realization.

That for all of this, there was no sense of gratification.

Now my childhood lies in decimation,

Due to being the embodiment of expectation.
