Finely shaped,
Satin to fall against,
Each leg and arm.

Held up only,
By the finest plank,
Of light wood.

Taking it down,
To put it on,
Only to disgard it.

To throw it away.

Moving on from High School to College is tough, and definitely not what I expected.

Yes, this is definitely a tough transition, but isn't it great that we have poetry to write about our true feelings? I liked how in this poem you showed jhow delicate someone can be, and how delicate life is in general. This is beautiful writing, because you use simple formatting to convey powerful ideas. Great piece, post again!
