expectations!

isnt this the dealth of  some people 

living to societies and other peoples expectation,

forget about even your own,

see,from day one we are told what is expected of us 

being a child,an adult ,a granny .

we always try to live up to expectations.

we conform,go to school

get our grades high

we got to be the best because failing shouldnt be an option.

that means we have to get the grades high

or the inevitable will befal you ,

`you will be poor`

`you will live in slums`,so we are told

this gets you thginking how bad can it be 

how is it for those who actually live there ,etc

we put our fate in the controle of others

and wait to be judged

because our actions do not match their expectations

we define ourselves by grades and numbers ,

that actually makes us believe we are not good enough.

we live trying day in,day out

all this because people`s and societies expectations of us .

Expectations are an illusion.

By trying to please everyone,

we end pleasing no one ourselves included.

That’s why most people don’t live the life they want.

Everyone feels frustrated and disappointed.

so put your oxygen mask on

adjust the way you want ,how you like it

speak up ,free yourself and others from living other peoples expectations.

enjoy things while they still last

be ok when they break

stop judging,stop epecting 

live to your fullest.
