expectations

It hasn't been long since I've been living this beautiful ravishing life, Yet I was overly excited about seeing and experiencing this new world and wished for things I could never have-I'm such a fool. I'm sick and tired of living in these unimaginable expectations as I sit around patiently waiting for life to finally heal me. When I don't feel any hurt or sadness, I start to realize things are going my way and now I'm able to show how I feel but when I do all I can do is tear up and try to not make a face. I try to give up everything but my dreams but it always comes back to haunt me.
