Expectations

Is it obligatory that I make you smile?

Must I always show you how far I've strived?

I build up walls to test myself,

But in the end I still ask for help.

I realize now that I'd rather secure my own vindication,

Rather than attempting to surpass your expectations.

Life is more valuable than any material possession. Don't throw it away over little things.
