Expectations

You are expected of from day one.

Expectations to be tall, to talk, walk, be happy, and smart.

No one ever looks at your heart.

Do they know what is inside, do they know you cry?

Do they know you give everything you have just to fall short?

Expectations.

Do not be scared of expectations.

If you do not reach, just be patient.

Do not be weighed down, you should never dare to frown.

Expectations.

You will meet them at your own pace, never a disgrace. You are beautiful

if different meaning higher or lower is what you need and you meet them.

Then, yes you did succeed.

Expectations.
