Experience
Maybe she is right,
But I believe that she is wrong.
She might not see this,
But I'm stronger than she thought.
She looks at me behind a fog
Filled with her memories.
She doesn't know that what we are
Is barely outside our dreams.
She sees where she has failed
And expects me to do the same.
Unlike her, I won't back down
When it seems wrong to me.
