Exposure

I hide behind my camera.

Photographers aren’t in pictures.

I expose the elegance of everyone,

Hide my lack of it.

Photographers aren’t in pictures.

Pictures are for beauty, so I

Hide my lack of it.

Because that’s what I’m supposed to do.

Pictures are for beauty, so I

Press down on the shutter.

Because that’s what I’m supposed to do.

Don’t mind me.

Press down on the shutter

As they paint on faces with makeup.

Don’t mind me,

I’m just the photographer.

As they paint on faces with makeup,

I expose the elegance of everyone.

I’m just the photographer,

I hide behind my camera.
