Expressing the Inexpressible

With every flood of my emotions

that violently crash and turn like the tides of the sea

I attempt to harness that power

in a hole I dug beside the shore

and with all I capture I write my poem

With life's most inexpressable moments

that shiver and howl like the wind

I attempt to find the words

like a child attempting to fly a kite in a hurricane

and when I find a small wind I write my poem

My poems express my most inexpressable moments

and tells it plainly to all

it is the way I can express

the most turbulent emotions of all
