Expression

Let me ask this,

What beat do you walk to?

Is it one of a brush stroke

One you can talk too

Can it change lives?

I feel mine beat deep like nine inch nails in each one of my eye lids

The power to grasp crowds

To strip power from crowns

How do you express you?

The power you have to progress you

I believe in, what dwells deep in

What captured life in Picasso's still life

The imagination in all of us

The power to mold

To form, to differ

To be bold

Let me ask this,

Without the power to express

Would the heart not be rigamortis,

at rest?

Without expression

We fall into a blank space

A space of repression

Surrounded by blank walls

Expression, the key to crack those blank walls

Through which

We bleed expression onto these blank walls

The cracks

The cracks

The cracks

Let me ask this,

Could the college dropout live

without pink polos and backpacks?

No two people live life to the same beat,

Yes this is true

No two raindrops fall the same,

Yes this is true

The way butterflies bloom from cocoons,

Expression blooms people

I walk to the beat of an 808

I die from heartbreaks and I am reborn; ready to die

My expression

She walks to the beat of CEO

A bridge to step beyond social margins

To show that winning is no bargain

Her expressions

He walks to the beat of beauty and injunuity

To build ships,

Ships that peril through seas of stars in the unknown

His expressions

Lead by your heart

And feel with your logic

Do as you do, through and through

Your expression
