Expression

Writing for expression is key for me I prefer to handle my problems alone Once the ink makes first mark on paper There is a feeling of a place I belong I write for the moments in life The times we can't get back So I use my pen in spite To hold memory to one day back track For reflections are needed for growth And in my youth there are so many reasons to reflect Your past and present create your future So with these poems, I contribute to what happens next And to those who have the same passion Let poetry give you joy, a purpose, a meaning For the reason we all write may not be the same Strive on and let your pen do the leading I write for many reasons The main reason I write is clear I write poetry for expression It is the reason that I am here
