Notes fill the air

Where there was a void previously is filled with a beat

Beats that resounded with the heart

Boom boom boom

Ba-dum Ba-dum Ba-dum

Each pulse sends energy into a limb

The fingers extend, the the arm retracts

One leg kicks out as the other pivots

The whole body moves to the beats

Like a robot charged by electricity

The body is electrified by music

The dancer leaps into the air and world wows

At his body expression

The sinews and muscles flashing in the light

This manifestatio of energy

Energy that is pumped by the sounds of music

And channeled by the heart

The dancer's body becomes a beast

A robot

A windmill

A doll

Through his dance he molds his body into all sorts of things

Some that already exist

Some that he brings to the world anew with his flesh

Sweat rolls down his face

And fatigue lurks between his bones

And his limbs stop molding

And the dancer must return to the clay statue that he was born as

Only to wait for when his body can reshape itself to the music again
