Expression through Espresso

Your odor astounds me,

Enthralling smell, it drives,

I was asleep, dreaming, dragging,

Not working, but slacking.

The dripping, hypnotically drawing,

Crawling, walking, running, diving,

The fragrance overwhelms me,

Pouring, stirring, blowing,

It’s hot black surface trembling,

Steaming, daring, enticing,

I steal a taste.

Warmth, energy, pounding,

The day has begun

I write.
