Extension of Me
I don’t think you understand
This is more than just an attraction
There’s just something about you
My parents say you’re no good for me
They say I pay you too much attention that you’re a distraction
But what do they know
They can barely understand how you function
And I could never function without you
The way I hold you may not always show how much I care about
Each scratch is just a reflection of how many tests we’ve faced together
I shall never let you go
Until the next IPhone comes out and I can get an upgrade.
