Extinction

you are here

I am gone

you are fear

defined as early dawn

depressed and cold

for reasons unknown

within the gold

you left alone

you came and went

like the tides

you have sent

to drown my cries

pull me down

let me go

around and around

I can never go

confused and dizzy

full of air

dying to be busy

with dreaded care

-ally
