They say pain sweeps through a person like fire,
Spreading apart muscles, burning them down to the bone
The simple fire now spreading to every organ.
Physical pain can torment the body,
While mental pain can burn the body,as well as the mind

The names that fill the hallway,
Loser,
Gay,
Stupid,
...
Loner.
They stab your body first, then they stir in your mind.
Making you believe you aren't worth fighting for,
That you're already a lost cause,
Sinking in the black abiss of lost companionship.
Friends turn on you for the names someone teased you with,
So they can feel better about themselves,
But after all, You deserve this right?
WRONG.
You deserve to be treated as an equal,
a beautiful flower in an empty field would still be beautiful if no one was around.
Shine in the day and let live on tomorrow.
Breathe,
because in order to kill that burning pain,
all you need is an extinguisher.

i was just thinking out loud, even though some of this doesn't flow together how i wanted, i just wanted it to be raw and questionable.
